Let My Heart Do the Walking

If the mood hits me right and the people on the dancefloor are feeling it right, I might just start dropping joints like this on Thursday:

OP!'s Heineken Suite 903 mix

This Thursday I'll be joined on the turntables by OP! at our monthly Uncle Mings event. In preparation for that, here is a mix that he recently did for the Heineken Red Star Soul Tour. This mix is one of about 20 DJ mixes made for the tour, and each mix was done by a different DJ. It's great to see OP! on a list of such high profile DJs!

OP! - Suite 903 # 14

Also, check out OP!'s myspace here.

This Thursday is going to be real fun.

Ninjasonik with a K - It's a movement

Last Saturday we joined forces with Sound Advice at Supreme Trading and had a blast. Well one half of Sound Advice, K-Ross, is also part of a group called Ninjasonik that is starting to take the NYC live show world by storm. I can't quite describe it - somewhere between electro, punk, and crunk is the first thing that comes to mind.

Either way, i laughed out loud several times watching this video from their Knitting factory show on October, 23rd.

Thanks (Supreme Trading)

On behalf of 432, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out to Supreme Trading on Saturday. I personally had a blast, and based on the dancefloor, it seems like everyone else did too.

An extra special thanks goes out to K-Ross, Elsewhere, and the Supreme Trading staff. We hope you'll have us back again soon!

If anybody has pictures, please send them our way. And if you get a chance, give the event a review and rate it over on Going.com.

I personally rated it 5 stars.

To all those who shook for us, I offer this:

Sound Advice 11/10

We've been talking about this for awhile, but now it's official. For 432 as a team, this is our FIRST BROOKLYN JAM as well as being our FIRST PARTY ON A SATURDAY. It was only a matter of time till we blew up BK considering that we, along with most of our friends, live here. We got love for our manhattanites, but we've been itching to do this for a minute.

...and what better people to help us rock the boro than our boys from Sound Advice. For anyone that was at Uncle Mings on 9/27, you saw how K-Ross and Knomad got the floor jumpin with their tag team dj set. Take that vibe, add in 2 other ill DJs, put us at a bigger spot in Williamsburg with its own solid crowd, throw in the 432 crew, and you've got one crazy ass party on your hands. For those of you that haven't been to Supreme Trading, check out their space. It's pimp.

So to keep you fiending, there's a mix below that the Sound Advice DJ's put together a while back. Check it out and then head over to their website for more beats.

Sound Advice - Play Anything Mix

Knomad Edit: I don't speak about myself in the third person. Varghese edited my post!
