Run-DMC, Metallica and Jeff Beck are among the artists who will be inducted into Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. Run-DMC is only the second rap act so honored, following the induction of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five in 2007.
CNN - A 90 year old Akron, Ohio woman attempted suicide Wednesday as police tried to evict her from her foreclosed home. She shot herself two times in the torso as authorities tried to enter her house and remove her.
After telling her story on House floor during a debate of the bailout, U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio said, "This bill fails to address the fact that millions of homeowners are facing foreclosure, are facing the loss of their home. This bill will take care of Wall Street, and the market may go up for a few days, but democracy is going downhill."
