Tomorrow Night! A chance to have fun, while giving something to those in need.
Come out and hear the Seamless DJ's (Teenwolf, Elsewhere, Knomad) drop their usual eclecting blend of dancefloor inducing madness.
Free to get in, but donation of non-perishable food for City Harvest is recommended.
Sala is at 344 Bowery. We'll be in the downstairs lounge.
Hope to see you there.
Is pole dancing allowed on the Festivus Poles? I don't see why not.

I love Freeway, and I think his recent plan to release a free track online everyday for the entire month of December is brilliant. I hope he really does it right and drops a quality track every day. If done right, this could really set the stage for the whole industry to step up and produce some good music and be more in touch with the fans who listen to it.
Check out the new Freeway site and start downloading his tracks at http://www.thefreewaychange.com/
From AllHiphop.com:
Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam artist Freeway has begun a December “Month of Madness,” where the Philly emcee will release a song per day for the entire month. The new project comes one year after the release of his critically acclaimed sophomore album Free At Last, which was executive produced by Jay-Z and 50 Cent. Christening the 31 song blitz “The Freeway Change,” the rapper aims to counteract a Hip-Hop culture he feels has “become more dependent on sales, marketing and imaging, rather than the quality and value of the music itself.” Still, Freeway remains optimistic that his move will set a precedent among other artists to bypass the corporate red tape of major labels to put their art unaltered directly in the hands of the people. During the month, Freeway will pay close attention to fan feedback and adjust his content accordingly. If successful, he plans to follow up with another "Month of Madness" or possibly a full length LP/album.

Check out this new video by 432 affiliates Ninjasonik. It was actually directed by our regular DJ collaborator DJ Elsewhere (aka Lazlo), and of course features another of our regular DJ collaborators Teenwolf as the masked keyboard player. Can he really play the keyboard???

Bush finally does something for black people.
In 2000 John was arrested at Newark Airport with a suit case filled with 31 pounds of LIQUID coke worth $1.4 million. He has been serving his 14 year sentence in a Pennsylvanian jail when on this past Monday, Bush issued a rare slew of pardons naming Forte as one of the lucky few.
Apparently Forte had the famous singer-songwriter Carly Simon lobbying on his behalf as her son attended the elite prep school Philips Exeter in New Hampshire with John.
.....and just to celebrate the 225th anniversary (yesterday) of Evacuation Day, when the British Red Coats left from a longboat from Battery Park after occupying the city for seven years, here's some sexy thanksgiving turkey: click HERE.

Stop making up excuses! I'm sure you can find 2 hours out of your busy schedule to make some calls for Obama.
I went out to the Fort Greene location today, did some street teaming to get more people to the phone bank and then called Barack supporters in PA to help get them to the polls this Tuesday.
No experience necessary - they give you training, scripts, and lists of people to call.
There's only 2 days left and this is an extremely important election.
LET"S DO IT!!!!! THERE'S ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT!!!!
For BK, get info here.

"I made a mistake in presuming that the self-interests of organizations, specifically banks and others, were such as that they were best capable of protecting their own shareholders and their equity in the firms,"
.......said by former Federal Reserve Chairman, Alan Greenspan, as he testified last Thursday in front of the House Committee of Government Oversight.
